9 Ways to Get Involved !

Become a Building Rep. Several of our schools need reps. Click to see a List of Our Reps and Vacancies.

Attend a monthly BEA Executive Council Meeting. All BEA members are welcome to our meetings. Click for BEA Important Dates.

Become a Grievance Rep. Our grievance reps make sure that our contract is followed. If you have great diplomacy skills, we need you. Contact beaworksadvocate@gmail.com.

Attend a School Board Meeting. This is a great way to find out how the Board works and what is important to them. Committee meetings are less formal and allow for conversation. Click here for Meeting Dates.

Contact the School Board. The Board needs to hear from all stakeholders. Let them hear your voice. If you are a Burlington resident, make sure you contact your ward commissioner. Click here for Commissioner Contact Info.

Take Part in a BEA Event. Last year we had teams of Burlington Educators take part in the Outright Vermont Fire truck Pull, The COTS Walk and other events. Stay tuned for this year. Click here for BEA Important Dates.

Create Content for This Website. If you have pictures or short stories about the great things you or other BEA educators are doing, contact beaworksoutreach@gmail.com. Want to write a few posts/articles for our Issues in Education, contact the same email.
